DORSUM^® for Placemats?

The architecture firm behind the design of the renowned Lago di Oz, restaurant in Ascoli Piceno approached DORSUM^® with a unique and challenging request: the creation of custom placemats. Leveraging our expertise and the versatility of our processes, we utilized DORSUM^® Bm to craft these pieces, applying a personalized relief and a two-tone finish achieved through painting. The compact placemats, measuring 12×30 cm, were produced in a batch of 170 pieces, showcasing DORSUM^® ’s ability to deliver small production runs with precision and uncompromised quality.

This project exemplifies how DORSUM^® can meet specific requests, even for limited production quantities, while maintaining high standards of design and customization. The combination of distinctive reliefs and special finishes turned the placemats into unique elements within the restaurant, adding a touch of elegance and originality. The successful completion of this project highlights the flexibility of DORSUM^® in managing productions of various scales, demonstrating its capability to transform creative ideas into tangible solutions with exceptional attention to detail.
